Do you suffer from clogged pores and unsightly blemishes? Unfortunately, very often it is the products we use that can be causing the problem.
This list will help you avoid ingredients that could be clogging your pores. Read your ingredient labels!!
Highly Comedogenic (pore clogging) ingredients that you should avoid in your skin care and makeup products. These can create a build up of oil in the pores, leading to things like blackheads, acne, milia, whiteheads, etc,:
Myreth 3 Myristate
Squalene(this is different than Squalane)
Moderately Comedogenic ingredients you should avoid if you have oily skin are:
Mildly Comedogenic Ingredients(for oily skin, your products should have no more than 5% of any of these ingredients):
*use only in tiny concentrations or not at all, for oily skin.
Ingredients are listed in order of concentration. The higher the concentraton of an ingredient in a product, the closer it will be to the top of the ingredient list.
Non-Comedogenic Ingredients are those that will not clog the pores:
